Professional Qualification

The CIMA Professional Management
Accounting Qualification

The CIMA Professional Qualification syllabus is built on three learning pillars: Management Accounting, Business Management and Financial Management.
Each pillar contains three subjects: two at Managerial level and one at Strategic level.

To qualify as a Chartered Management Accountant and secure the designatory letters ACMA, you need to complete both the Managerial and Strategic levels of exams and the CIMA Test of Professional Competence in Management Accounting (TOPCIMA).

In addition, you require a minimum of three years' relevant practical experience that is recorded by you, verified by your employer and approved by CIMA. Each level of the qualification brings new skills and recognition, increasing your career potential and earning capacity as you progress and gain experience.

TOPCIMA is the very last challenge you will face before calling yourself a 'passed finalist' and ultimately receiving the letters ACMA after your name.
